Born and raised in Rayne, Louisiana, Rachel attended and graduated from Rayne High School. After graduation she attended Business College, graduating in 1992 in General Accounting.

Prior to working at MPW Properties, Rachel worked for over 25 years with various companies in Lafayette and surrounding areas as an Office Manager, Accounting Manager, and she also has done Home Health and Hospice Billing.

Rachel married her husband Chad in 2008. She has one daughter and stepson that just out of the Army in 2025. She is a proud Memaw to two grandsons. In her free time Rachel enjoys dancing, reading murder mystery books, and spending time with her grandkids
